Liquid indulgence,
catching you on my tongue
in the rain ….
I’m wet all the way through..

When it rains I walk out the door instead of sitting indoors,
Choosing to drench myself with a promise of cold.
All but to find solace in the gentle embrace of liquid poetry.

Rain has been falling around me for the past few weeks, leaving me with many rainy days that haunt me with their melancholy. I find comfort in the rain and enjoy writing poetry inspired by its liquid caress.
