Someone said my poem was “a moving piece”. They gave me the gift of epiphany. The implication being that everything from each of us is part of a whole. Each experience, thought, intent, action or utterance, is a “piece”. This is why art is a portal of sorts, a gateway or a bridge. It links us one to all. Each artist, an engineer who builds a “piece”, constructed from the light inside their soul. Each point of light that shared provides illumination of our greater whole.

On my 21'st birthday I came to two epiphanies. One being an adult means nothing, everyone's just making it up as they go. And two driving is basically bumper cars, except you try and NOT hit the other cars.
