I will die Before My Time
Because I feel the shadow`s Depth
so much I wanted 2 accomplish
before I reached my Death
I have come 2 grips with the possibility
and wiped the last tear from My eyes
I Loved All who were Positive

The incipient institution needs some stabilizing principle to stop its premature demise. That stabilizing principle is the naturalization of social classifications. There needs to be an analogy by which the formal structure of a crucial set of social relations is found in the physical world, or in the supernatural world, or in eternity, anywhere, so long as it is not seen as a socially contrived arrangement. When the analogy is applied back and forth from one set of social relations to another, and from these back to nature, its recurring formal structure becomes easily recognized and endowed with self-validating truth... For discourse to be possible at all, the basic categories have to be agreed on. Nothing else but institutions can define sameness. Similarity is an institution.

I cannot help but wonder whether, by continuing and expanding the school lunch program, we aren't witnessing, if not encouraging, the slow demise of yet another American tradition the brown bag. ... Perhaps we are beholding yet another break in the chain that links child to home.

The Demise of the DiskDoctor: The story I was told goes something like this. The software folks were not quite sure whether DiskDoctor should be dumped or improved, so they decided to leave it up to DiskDoctor itself. They put the DiskDoctor source on an old floppy, then ran DiskDoctor on it. As often happened, DiskDoctor damaged this undamaged disk. So, while it's often said that DiskDoctor was 'sued for malpractice', it's more correct to state that DiskDoctor committed suicide.
