The Power Of Fiction Poetry Contest

Something I've realised in my own reading and in the observations of others is this... to truly get the most out of reading, we need to feel it.

How many times has the descriptive imagery of a fictional land or weather event caused you to feel awe? Have you ever felt like you are part of a story? Have you ever felt like the hero/victim in a narrative? Do you feel the emotional build up of a progressing romance?

For this contest, write a poem about how a person feels when reading. You can write about your own experience or about what you have noticed in other readers (no names).

For help with ideas, feel free to read my pinned poem "The Power Of Fiction".

Two main rules... 1, Stick to the theme.... 2, Must be a NEW poem. Again, my aim is to give ALL entrants acknowledgement for flair and creativity. Hoping to place everyone.
