What to Submit?

Please submit a NEW "Lento" poem. Submit 2 stansas- AABB, AABB. The only requirements to this type of poem that I will enforce is that the first words of lines AA must rhyme and the last words of lines AA must rhyme, same goes for lines BB. Use the topic and title of your choice. But if you will please put a (CM) at the end of the title "I Want To Fly-CM" so that I don't accidentally read it. You can remove the CM after the contest is finalized. *See my example- "I Want To Fly" as an example. This is a Premier Poetry Contest so there will only be 10 winning placements. Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts. 

English Language

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
