Now

Just so you know,
this is not the time to be
sad
alone
uneasy
this is the time
to rememeber
what you fought for
what you stood for
what you gave up
for all the wrong reasons,
according to most
yes you are different
yes you let the battle win
for a while
a long while
but that doesn't mean the war is over
that you can't bounce back
it seems unlikely
it seems un realistic
But rememeber
that's how's its always been
that's how it will always be
The difference may be
you don't have someone
besides you along the way
to take advantage,
be supportive,
remind you
that you can't succeed alone.
Bring back that fire
that desire
that need to rise above.
In order to be where you want to be
You cannot give up on the future
you cannot accept
that major failure
embarrassment
is the end all
be all
that you cannot
still feel
that passion of freedom
independence
of life.
You are worthy
and its ok
you will find a place
you feel at peace
a place you belong
so just keep your head down
keep working hard,
keep believing
that these lessons you learned
these times you are experiencing
will show you
will lead you
to the people you were meant to meet
to the places you were meant to be
to the world you were meant to see
not everyone was cut out for luxury
or fame
or fortune
but if not for different paths
would there not be different thinking?
And don't we all need that?
