The Angel of Light
Walking a long road of total darkness was my life
Bitterness bounded in torment and shame was my wife
I never felt happiness but swam in the pool of sadness
Then i saw a blinding light approaching me
It enlightened the way as it came and clearly i could see
And behold! An angel, beauty beyond words
One never seen by the eyes of men
The smile on her face gave my soul a calm touch and covered all my heart's space
Her eyes dazzled like the beaming rays of the sun
Her hair fell like the flowing waters of a magnificent fountain
Her laugh shook my world and place things in order
And at her smile, i saw those sparking teeth that made the stars lose their shine
Her skin so smooth that it reflected my lost and dirty face
i was lost in my head and then i felt a warm touch
And through a whisper, i heard "Don't worry, I'm here for you"
I felt happiness, joy, and love which couldn't be described all in an encounter
Men have seen angels but i have seen the one
