You, My Love

I slept but my heart was awake,
Hark! my beloved is knocking,
Until forever my heart you take,
Oh heavens you're not lacking.

This morning I look at you with love,
Oh! heavens you're flawless,
You're my Joy, my friend and my dove,
The praises you get are endless.

You have ravished my heart,
and have made me new,
You're all that I want,
My true love is you.

Today to forever I seek no more,
Draw me closer never let me go,
lets be stronger, let our love grow,
My gentle lover, I love you so

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
