Sunday Mourning Saints

Sunday Mourning Saints

Sunday mourning saints
Hypocrite aints
Praying... I mean playing on sundayz
The preacher always yell
Living like Hell

Look'n pretty in white
Smell'n pretty in white
Dress'n pretty in white
Keep'n up STRIFE

Selling hams
Selling yams
Raising sand
Don't believe that God can

In Christ their is no failure
As for God's house
It is a "House of Prayer" (Mark 11:17)

Prayer on your knees
Instead you made it into a "Den of Thieves"

Talk about each other so bad
Even make the devil laugh

Sunday mourning saints
Filled with the HOLY .... I mean Wholly Ghost

Suppose to love
Suppose to share
Just don't care

Appearing to be so deep
Secrets you can't keep
When they see you in public they won't even speak

Preach the truth preacher then beg for your money
Preach the truth preacher then steal your money
Preach the truth preacher then beat their honey

Jealous of one another
Not loving each other
Competing for what's not yours
Sowing dis-core

Just want to obey the pastor
Forgot about obeying God
Scorn the poor in laughter
Honoring man before the master

Hick'a ma sighing
Always lie-ing
Jump, scream shout
Sunday mourning saints will
Cuss you out
