I Promised

I promised I wouldn't worry about the past.
On how things were temporary and didn't last.

I promised not to dwell on the pain I went through.
But to forget the old and bring in the new.

                   I promised I wouldn't cry anymore.
Not in public nor behind closed doors.

I promised not to be angry or hate.
Just love and make 2009 great.
