Fog Lifting

Dew drifting down, blinding the spirit;
         Dimming our course; stealing away the longed for light.

         Yet hope hurries in when a hazy glow enters,
         As the misty shadows take shape beyond.

         Whispered prayer arises as wispy white appears;
         Interwoven wonderfully with the waiting hills;

         Swirling softly through the silent valleys;
         clinging calmly to the earth as the clouds to the sky.

         Rapturous rays rising; warmth distilling!
         Lifting the softly-spun dew heavenward;

         As the hills shine glorious with bright dawning,
         Lowliness of Spirit looks up and is lifted even as the fog.

         The warm presence of the Son abides as promised
         While souls and rays join to shed forth light for this day
