Innermost thoughts

I'm not quite sure,
If it was right or wrong,
I only know the journey was long.
Lessons were learned-
while others were taught,
Realizing things I almost forgot.
Admitting my faults
and trying to change within,
Knowing by God's mercy
 I have been forgiven.
I've been cut to the core,
now scars remain-
Battle wounds I call them,
reminders of the pain.
Although certain things seem unfair-
I am reassured that God is there.
Holding my hand
 & standing by my side-
Healing me with Love
And arms open wide.

Your poem offers a poignant exploration of the human experience, blending themes of self-reflection, resilience, faith, and redemption. It serves as a reminder that even in the face of adversity, there is strength to be found in vulnerability and trust in something greater than oneself... Nicely done..
