Regret

I here your words,
                                       I just don't care,
My head is filled with a black cloud.
                                      You did me wrong.
Then you slip out of my world as fast as you came.
                                   I forget what you did.
My angry screams become sad sobs.
Why must this happen at such a time.
I never said I love you, I never said goodbye.
Please come back just one more time.
My prayers echo through my house.
Maybe if I believe hard enough,
you will come back to take me with you.
Mom, I love and miss you.
