Calling Out Dissonance

Snow is falling
Snow is calling
Calling my pride
Calling me out
Out of my shell
Out of my habits
Habits of being
Habits of seeing
Seeing myself
Seeing the world
World of wonder
World of pain
Pain I have felt
Pain I imagined
Imagined I was singing to a tree
Imagined that the tree was crying
Crying for the beauty of my song
Crying for the law of three
Three like the wise men
Three like the faces of God
God who is born
God who is back
Back with the new sun
Back as the day starts to climb
Climb over night
Climb over darkness
Darkness in my back yard
Darkness in my eye
Eye that starts to gleam
Eye starts to dream
Dream a little dream of me
Dream of a white Christmas
Christmas songs
Christmas dinner
Dinner with the family
Dinner with my snakes
Snakes in a barrel
Snakes at my heels
Heels that dance
Heels that run
Run away
Run towards
Towards confusion
Towards resolution
Resolution for the new year
Resolution of my dissonance
Dissonance I fear
Dissonance I face
Face...
Fear...

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
