Forbidden Fruit

Looking so sumptuous
Tempting unknowingly
Edging on onlookers
To do much more than stare

You insist to remain forbidden
But you desire to be claimed
Should I pick this forbidden fruit?
Oh no, I do not dare

To pick you would be lethal
Poisonous in your nature
I fall into your trap
Of great despair

Now I am just another victim
Of this forbidden fruit
Irresistible to the eye
Deadly to the touch

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
