Decay

You and I we're breathing corpses
Collapsing feelings of underdogs
Bitter realities that enfold our lives
Our hearts keep beating amid the pain
We'd spend summer nights in vain
The smell of the unappologetuc rain
Lullabies for the broken are played
Comfort to the tearful parade
Imagination comes cheap with sorrow
Smoking human bones until you let go
There's an after taste for blood
The plague crawls within the flood
Clean your face from all the pus
Cleansing minds from the fuss

This hell is yours and mine
Survivors who had forgotten how to survive
Together as one we'll wait fo the antichrist to arrive
From beneath the rotten corpses he shall rise
The weak minded will run and hide
From the hideous corrupted fight
He with the bad breath and the one blind eye
Is the master of th defeated and marginalized
Like an ocean of nihilists drowning the conservative kites
Follow the steps of the maleficent mind
Close your eyes and let him devour your insides
The numbness will bring the forgotten smiles

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed
