Christmas Eve

Sitting by the chimney
On a snowy Christmas eve,
Waiting for Santa Claus
To put presents under our tree.
I think that I’ve been good this year,
There’s only one way to know.
So until Saint Nick comes through our chimney,
I’ll sit and watch the snow.

Nice rhythm and rhyme...I can see the poor little one waiting and wondering until falling asleep...all the best Helena
