Bodies

Bodies at the morgue
seem to be waiting
for partners …

Waiting, waiting still
like nothing.

Bodies at the morgue
seem to be so
for good …

So poor and dull and so
low.

Bodies today;
nobodies tomorrow.

I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.
