Raindrops

Raindrops, big and small
clear and glassy as they fall,
slowly as they hit the ground
no one can hear the breaking sound.

They fall like gold-dust
small and sweet,
they roll like thunder
big, and deep.

Think of the raindrops silent gain
think of the raindrops breaking pain,
think of the raindrops feelings within
as they gather together, and try to swim.

Watch the raindrop
as it dries,
such shame to see
such beauty die.

But let it live
inside your head,
and fear not
where the rain fell dead.

Raindrops sweetly smell
blue and misty as they fell,
quickly as they hit the ground
no one heard the breaking sound.
