i feel your warmth spreading from the place

i know the day will come

that fills me with this ache
the longing for your embrace
pains me even as i sleep

i know that you exist
your presence is apparent in each moment
i feel a smile enter my eyes
i'm sure you'll keep it there.
but until that you

on your way to my door
i'll just pretend to hug you
