A Soft Place To Fall

When despair and distraught go hand in hand
When you feel like you're crashing
And there's nowhere to land
You have a soft place to fall.
When agony and defeat are your closest friends
And the river of tears
Never seems to end
You have a soft place to fall.
When family disowns you and casts you aside
And you're desperately seeking a place to hide
Yet fear and lonliness won't subside
You have a soft place to fall.
When evil tempts you and drags you down
When your happy smile turns into a frown
And your energy simply won't rebound
You have a soft place to fall.
When kindness of others brings a tear
And the shoulder you lean on
Lessens your fear
You Found a soft place to fall!
