I Weep

I weep because i am alone, in a place unknown.
I cry because my heart longs for the one i love.
I fear having my life stripped from me.
I hear hurtful words from those around me.
I weep because i am alone, in a place unknown.
I sit wondering if good will come my way.
I pray everyday to hear a voice talk to me.
I cry because my heart longs for the one i love.
I weep because i am alone, in a place unknown.

Whitney, this poem evoked images of our soldiers abroad, wondering how they can find peace "in a place unknown." Thank you for sharing! Carolyn
