World Peace

There is no understanding the evil acts performed by mankind,
only a sick twisted creator could have had this in mind.

Wish upon stars and worship the almighty dollar,
the rich grasp for more, the poor live in squalor.

We recite "America the beautiful, the land of the free"
told to cherish our right to be all we can be.

“All are created equal,” you'll hear us proudly say,
but the world is filled with prejudice, hateful hearts, and decay.

Now war threatens our reality and the future is unclear,
there's always someone, somewhere, who is paralyzed by fear.

It's in our nature to cause conflict and that will never cease,
we just agree to disagree, nothing has changed,
shattered dreams of world peace.
