The Space Between

Oceans divide, as do the sands of time
Emotions held prisoner, within the mind
Words hold meaning, though actions hold more
Windows to our world, and what we’re living for
The clock moves, but only one way
Never does it allow us, the previous day
Visions as weapons, unintended
So intervene the divine, for fences mended 
Questions asked, to leave or stay
When silence itself, was a push away
Today I felt you, as if in a dream
Together we closed, the space between
