The Room

A beautiful sun floats on the horizon
Signifying a rising joy
Blades of grass graze by
Our smiles become so coy

Clouds sweep in,
The grass gets stuck in our throats
We turn away and close our eyes
The sun is drowning and it begins to choke

Beautiful poem, it rhymes and paints beautiful nature pictures for me. But it's not ABC, because thet comes with a different set of rules. This a mix of Free Verse and Rhyme :) Welcome to PoetrySoup.
