Dear Brad

Death was no friend
As we can remember
Time has escaped
Yet it holds us forever

Your father had passed
I knew what he ment to you
Your mother had changed
And the world was unkind to you.

Regret for my cruelty
Has placed you in mind
Times that I told you
That your ugly should hide

Dragons and fantasys
Those times we had spent
Faded to secrets
As I feared I look bad.

As we grew older
You cared less and less
told on a daily
You began to care less.

I wanted to apologize
For what I had done
I pray that your doing well
As well as your mom.

If a person is hurting
due to words that are wrong
You need to stand up for them
And don't join along.

I like your poem, although it is not abecedarian or ABC :) It is Rhyme. There is great cadence in your poem, it reads like a lyric, or a song. Welcome to PoetrySoup.
