A Bunch of Wild Flowers

Far away she began to drift
to the distant land of hers
When reality seemed to ruin everything
she went to that place
The last safe place she calls
"Where everything is not justified by what you see and smell"

With a heavy heart and dark eyes
Her journey continued
Every step of hers
To move away from a place
where insecurity hits hard
Love is always a cyanide
She drank knowing what it was
Repeatedly she drowned in the same poison

Ocean blue eyes, she sank in them
But now,clear is her mind
Ragged feet dragging abandoned
Yet!she is moving
towards a world,where she could
Kiss her last breath Goodbye

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
