The poem(s) are below...

Early Fall Frost

Over roof and eaves
peering first among the leaves
autumnal sun.

Early frost and dew
for the moment glistening
autumnal sun.

Day breaks warmly at
a new season's dawn
red leaves.

Porch-set with cup in hand
craving crossword at hand
steaming coffee.

Wondering why time seems
to pause, and wait for
us to savour.

I think that it does pause about now. What a wonderful reminder.
