Strong

You lead me on,
let me believe
that we could've
been forever.

It took me a while
to admit to myself
that I loved you.
Because I was afraid
you wouldn't love me back.

The way you called me beautiful,
it made me realize you loved me too.
But you will never know,
just how much you meant to me,
how happy you made me.

But when you told me you
don't want a relationship,
my heart shattered.... broken.

But I will make it,
and my heart will repair
its broken pieces....
in time.

Because you can't
break me anymore.
You can't tear me apart
or drag me down
because I am strong.
