Monster Inside
There is a monster inside all of us just waiting for one slip of the mind.
Once it's released ,it takes over and it's yourself that you never find.
First you lose yourself and then your real friends you will avoid.
Sometimes in the end, it's your whole family you have destroyed.
I've seen this monster up close and looked him in the eye,
His name is ADDICTION and your need to get high.
I battle this monster daily and it wins more often than not.
I can't show you all the scars it left but the pain can never be forgot.
I will continue to battle daily all the way to my end;
I can only pray that all my struggles will one day help a friend.
