Scarred Soul

She sits still...
Can you feel the stares?
Her eyes cry tears-
They are the window to her soul.
Inside she is hurting...
The years have been unkind.
She has not come to open arms-But to fear and closed minds.
Fear that grips her every being...
And keeps her from herself.
Spiraling down, she's out of control.
Will she ever stop?
She feels the stains upon her.
They are heavy and won't wipe away.
Holding her down and keeping her alone...
These stains have scarred her soul.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
