Edenlost

We share a drink to diminish woe
Gazing eyes at midnight hour
Reluctant towards friend and foe
My heart and soul, you will devour

Memories so far and gone
No remedy for my pain
I gasp out for the great Amon
Ignorant to cataclysmic rain

O! what beauty your throe it be
Beauty unseen by all
Collapsing lungs foreseen by he
The tyrants final fall

Anguish once decorate my palette
Regret overcomes my mind
Soon to transcend, slowly forget
No longer torn by your bind

The suns luminescence dies with haste
New day once more forgotten
Left alone with your sickly taste
Our "love" now sickly putrid and rotten

Forgotten eyes I knew so well
The world seems to have died to us
Too far gone for me to tell
The final bearing of emptiness thus

Dying senses accept bereavement
Growing further and further away
Your flesh was once heaven sent
Your eyes fixed to mine, slowly decay
