I'M Afraid To Die

It's happening again
I'm afraid to die

Did I love to much
Did I care to much
I'm afraid to die
Unspoken words
No ears to trust
I'm afraid to die

Can't take the pain
Of this dirty rain
I'm afraid to die
Unable to breathe
Unable to move
I'm afraid to die

Dark-ness surrounds me
My prayers are unanswered
I'm afraid to die
Frozen in fear
No way out of here

It's time to die

A very beautiful written poem remember the life is a must coming thing, the thought of it would only ruined your life, you ve to die either early or later, so enjoy your life as much as you can and forget about it, if you re having nightmares than you should pray a little,I don t know your religion but try to feel God,ask Him to help you,and remember if we step one step close to Him, He ll step the rest of steps however I m new and wanted you to read my poems and tell me how you feel about them

Poetry is an excellent way to vent, many of us here have fears, mental illness, physical illness. People will understand. I wish you the best, and keep writing. Welcome to PoetrySoup :)

I am going through a very rough time right now. I have never written poetry, other than 30 years ago in my English class(giving away my age, lol). I have been having nightmares and woke up and felt an overwhelming need to write this. It came out in five minutes and I felt like a huge weight was off my shoulders - it may sound strange - but I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to share this - I have know one I can explain things to - It would be great to understand poetry more and dig deeper into my soul as to why this has been happening to me.
