Unfiltered Joy

Anyone that knows me would know that my emotions flow free.
If I'm nothing but a lover I'm OK with that.
Honestly how do you communicate feelings that run deeper than oceans,
and would span the universe if materialized.

Luna Galilee Dungan has captivated the very essence of my soul,
a trait I believe she inherited from her mother.
Beauty is undefined and exists in all places,
small and large, noticed and unnoticed.

I've wandered through life looking and catching,
glimpses of it everywhere love is found.
I like to imagine that everyone that's passed through this life,
despiteless of being good or bad has given somebody the happiness,
I've experienced at least for a heartbeat.

To hold such an immensity of unfiltered joy that it radiates up and out of you, washing over humanity making the world a better place,
if only for a moment in time.
That is as close as I can come to doing these emotions poetic justice.

I am engulfed by love for my daughter
and the woman who has shared this adventure with me.
All I can do is devote my entirety to them.
The two who own my undivided attention forever and always.
