Adieu

Her billowing dress beckons me
Her bouncing curls wave to me.
Her retreating footsteps fading away
Her diminishing frame bidding me adieu.
I realise my mistake - too late.
I never valued her love- bad fate.

Good Morning Leena , what a beautiful poem of Man's inability to realise the beauty of love not for a day but always, and Time's regret lives long after the parting. Beautiful poem . Congratulations a well deserved win . Daniel
