Depression

I'm stuck, yes i'm depressed
sometimes I don't know what for,
I get this overwhelming feeling
of sadness and bleakness.

I try to turn it around, but all I get is
a warm wet stream rolling down my
face, falling into the the crevices of my
shirt.

Tears, yes I suppose. I do,
I do love my family, I do love my
friends, but sometimes they just
don't understand how dark things
could really get.

when i'm in that time, I just don't
see the light, sometimes I don't
want to, I don't want to fight!

But i'm here, I'm here to stay,
I promise you i'll be here, no matter
what happens, no matter how
much pain i'm in, others come
before me and seeing me gone will
really hurt them, so that's why i'm
still here, still here to stay.

so don't call me selfish, because if
I was, you wouldn't be seeing
this, you would be sitting at my grave;
