Emotional Con Men

Emotional Con Men

A prove is all we need and please,

Do not preach that which you cannot be, if you cannot be that which you forever teach

Do not tell me how powerful I am if my spirit your words can never lift.

How dare you tell me about miracles while your world is in shambles.

You come with your uniform, the ties and your lies buried beneath the suits

The misconception of the fools is what you feed upon,

Punchlines and word plays displayed on your coated tongues.

How dare you! How dare you Disregard the facts,

Endangering the people yet providing no path.

The end is here, can you hear the rumbling as the horsemen rides?

Actions are needed more than your pre composed rhymes

tell people what to do not how to fall on their knees and cry

keeping them ever coming back instead of finding a solid ground to stand.

The tide has changed and only the practical shall sail.
