The Live Dream

The Live Dream

The striped carnation adorned my room lately,

Yesterday , your promise replaced them 

with dark red & white carnations,

and 13 roses.

Just when I thought to smell the flowers,

Your words pierce my soul

Jolting me back to life.

Alas, it is still a dream.
