Fate of Pain

FATE OF PAIN

What shall I do with this pain?
Blooming deep within my bosom
Light it up in flames and afire
Latent joys of a life obscure?

Or quench away in heavenly flow?
A sweet drowning of senses glow
Or should it be blunted with words?
Hollow sounds to wounded ears

Or let it run like a river swift?
Cutting beneath deeper still
Until the mighty heart ruptures
From pastures to chasm dark

But, alas! I know its piteous fate

Submerged in naive smiles it stays
Tendered by the daily aches
Until one night the reaper comes
And release the muse from its deadly sneer.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
