Bring Our Girls Back

How can I look at the sky and feel complete
When I know there's somebody out there who's suffering
How can I say that this world has been good to me
When history day by day is on repeat

We've demanded for answers and when they do come
We close our eyes and wait on someone else to take action
We're scared to stand up for what's wrong because of the consequences
Wake up

Now there's fourteen black girls missing in D.C.
And I still haven't seen any action
Their mothers are inconsolable crying for their little babies
But since that ain't your baby you don't give a damn

Look around you, yeah it's beautiful isn't it?
Well for those girls it isn't, we don't even know if they're still alive
Just because they aren't your blood doesn't mean you shouldn't care if they're suffering
It's wrong man...damn
Bring our girls back
Bring the babies of those mothers back
