Then and Now

THEN I was afraid and very sad.
Home was not a safe and loving place!
Easy to pretend, and sometimes I tried to run.
Needs were met,but emotions I kept hide!

AND I wanted more and started checking things
out.
Nothing was changing,or?
Dancing thoughts of change was erupting my
brain!

NOW I see life as a risk taker. Why I am not
sure.
One moment I am feeling free, able to express
my deepest desires!
Wow,I can make house a home, don't have to
pretend,I will meet my own desires and
Run no more! Run No More.
