One Day

And when one day you're big,
you'd walk out our door
you'd go to school,
im sure you'd come back,

one day you won't ask to play,
or cuddle til you sleep,
or have your ears covered,
when it's loud and you're scared,

but darling when you're big,
when you walk out that door,
when you meet  the half of what makes you,
may you find your way home,

may my love remind you "here is home",
and that I'll be waiting for you,
that no matter how big you are,
I'll hold your hand, im always your home,

One Day
