Superman

Swollen eyes haven’t lost their spark
But now I see
Alone and afraid, even you face the dark
That tragic day
Destroyed all but your spirit
What was stolen
And gone forever, I couldn’t admit
My hero still
As a man, human to the core
Papa dearest
You’re not superman anymore

I've really been enjoying your poem and the emotions and imagery were so vivid that i could easily picture them as beautiful illustration. Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
