When Can I

Conversing with you, finding some clues,
Just secret signs I cannot find.
Thinking ‘bout you, ending up blue,
Yeah I just can't calm my mind.

When you walk by, my tempo goes up,
But then I pause, and never act up.
I try not to stare, but I just can't bare,
You're right over there, but to you I'm just air.

Tell me when I can stop my inner storm,
‘Cause I need to stop stressing and start expressing.
Tell me our feelings are uniform,
‘Cause I need to stop guessing and start confessing.

Seeing you sad, seeing you sore,
These days actually crush me the most.
Please don't be shy, just open up more,
I know you need me to hold you close.

So please, give me a chance,
To make you feel how you make me feel.
So please, even a glance,
For I promise my love for you is real.

Tell me when I can stop my inner storm,
‘Cause I need to stop stressing and start expressing.
Tell me our feelings are uniform,
‘Cause I need to stop guessing and start confessing.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
