Hate That I Love You

A love poem to my one and only,

Dear Love,
I hate the fact that you immediately think that I am about to boast your ego,
I hate that you know that I'll always come running back to you,
I hate how my thumbs dance over my screen everytime I am texting you,
I hate being in your presence because the butterflies in my tummy misbehave,
I hate that I have to fight so hard for your attention,
I hate the way my tongue goes up and comes back down to say i love you,
I hate the fact that I am writing to you,
I hate you,
But in all honesty,
I just hate the way I love you...

Signed,
The one who'll always love you.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
