30 Days

Thirty Days
(to the tune of Ki yi Bossie)

Yippie kai yai yay
They say you got to change who you run with
When you take the cure
Thirty days in and funny how clear
You can see what you couldn’t see before
Thought you broke my heart
But it was only a dent
Yippie kai yai yay
A little time was spent
And separate ways we went

Lemon kush made my vision 420
The room was so smoky
You looked pretty good
Two joints in and we got along fine
But then I took the cure
And now I’m doin fine

When I broke thirty days
I could see more clearly
Time for new friends and to send you on your way
Thirty days sober and I did the hokie pokie
Got a red chip halleleujah okie dokie
Making new friends at noon and six thirty
New associations that don’t make me crazy
Oh, by the way, don’t let the door hit you in the rear

Yippie kai yai yay
I’m happy joyous and free
Yippie kai yai yay
I'm happy joyous and free
