Backstabbers

"Backstabbers"

I've got a story to tell,
Those that come in the night.
We are blinded by their fake smiles
Only lies float from their mouths.
In our eyes they are 14K gold,
In reality they are rusty metal.
They appear only how they pretend to be,
Hiding how they really are,
With mask of fake smiles,
And fake caring expressions.
And I've got a story to tell,
When the time comes it will be too late
You won't even see it coming,
The mask will be gone
A true them revealed
Friends, not friends
A knife straight in the back.
