The Grace of Faith

THE GRACE OF FAITH

DO WE EVER SIT DOWN TO WONDER
A WONDER FULL OF SECRETS,
HAVE YOU EVER ASKED GOD WHO YOU ARE
THE BEAUTY OF NATURE IS SEEN FROM INSIDE OF THE NATURAL
INHABITANT,
THE SAME WAY WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE DEPTH
OF THE EYES OF A HUNGRY CHILD
ALL YOU SEE IS THE PAIN AND SUFFERING THEY GO THROUGH
AND YOU START LOOKING FOR FOOD FOR THEM TO EAT,

PEOPLE THAT IS WHERE YOU LOST IT
LIKE THE WISDOM OF GOD SAYS
THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL IS SIN
HE TALKS YET HE IS DEAF
MY PERISH BECAUSE THEY KNOW NOT
WHAT THEY SEE IS NOT WHAT THEY SPEAK

THE HUNGRY DESIRE FOOD TO LAST A LIFE TIME
MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE
THE THIRST WANT ETERNAL WATER
THAT HE OFFERS FREELY,
THE BEAUTY OF IT ALL IS NOT WHAT HE GIVES
IS WHAT HE TAKES AWAY,
WHAT HE HAS TAKEN FROM US

HERE IS A SECRET
A SECRET THAT HAS BEEN THERE
A THOUSAND OF YEARS HAVE COME AND GONE
YET STILL THE SECRET REMAINED A MYSTERY,
TO ALL OF MANKIND

HE HAS TAKEN ALL THE TROUBLES
THE ANGER, PAIN
POVERTY
THE SHAME
THE STRESS OF THIS WORLD FROM YOU

THE CHILD WAS NOT HUNGRY BECAUSE
HE WAS NOT FED
ITS BECAUSE HE NEVER KNEW HE WAS
ALREADY FED

HE HAS DONE IT ALL
BUT WE NEED TO KNOW TO ACCESS
ITS ALL IN EXCESS
GRACE IS THROUGH FAITH
AND FAITH THROUGH HEARING.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
