SHADOWS IN THE NIGHT.

Tears on my pillow as I cry myself to sleep
tears on my pillow as I dare not take a peep.
I've seen the giant shadow that stands against
my wall.
I wonder is someone there, or just reflections from the hall.
The floorboards, well they're creaky and squeaky on the stair.
When I dare to take a peek and see there's no-one there.
I have to laugh cause I've been daft with shadows in the night.
But then again with creaky boards they gave me such a fright.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
