Thoughts of you flood my mind
Aching thoughts that you may never be mine
Bending the rules to cue you in at all cost
Even though this fairytale story seems like a lost cause.
Thoughts of you flood my mind
Even when your philosophies and mine do not align
I'll still think it through giving you the benefit of doubt
But its hurting and I want to know what this is really about.
Thoughts of you flood my mind
How long do i have to wait for you to be formally mine..?
Days turning to weeks, weeks turning to months
The only leverage I think I have is my poetic fonts.
Thoughts of you flood my mind
Distinct are your abilities,features and your kind
Good things come to those that wait
Lets see if this is a will by fate.
